2015 Finds

$2

Found this New wave cook top for $2.  Figured the new pans, cast iron grill and griddle was worth that.  The plastic top has been cracked.  Tried it with a pan of water and it took about 10 minutes to come to a boil (not  the 90 seconds the  infomercials say).  I may try to see what the problem is and get back with the results.

$3

I bought this for $3.  The seller said it was just collecting dust.  The chocolate was missing and so was the recipe book.  The rest of it was still new in the original packaging.  I need to buy liquid fuel then I will test.  Perhaps for new years.

$3

Small cotton candy machine.  While cleaning it found burnt sugar on heater.  I cleaned it up and purchased sugar floss to try.  It works OK a little small but so is the machine.

$3

I bought this for $3.  I tryed it and the bubbles were not plentiful, in fact very sparce.  I looked it up on the internet and found out that it is a very bad machine.  A lot of bad reviews.  New machine.costs $35  The reviews were right very bad had to throw it in the trash.

$1

Couldn't pass this up.  For a buck I got badmitten, horse shoes, and birdie volley.  The poles were missing from the net, but I already have a good net.  It also came with a small carrying case.

$10

I thought I would give this one a shot.  It was for a charity for help to Haiti.  I went on line and downloaded the manual for it.  I primed the water as it probably was sitting for a while.  I then filled the reservoir with water.  I purchased a use your own coffee adapter and tried to make coffee.  It worked just great.  I now used it each morning instead of making a pot of coffee.
